🐢Sea Turtle Protection

Saint-Barthelemy is home to three protected sea turtle species: the green turtle, the hawksbill turtle, and the leatherback turtle. The nesting season extends from April to November.

Beach Etiquette Guidelines

  • Do not disturb turtles coming ashore
  • Turn off artificial lights at night (facing the sea)
  • Do not touch eggs or hatchlings
  • Report sightings to the Nature Reserve
