Choosing Your Beach Based on Weather
Your beach choice should depend on the day's weather conditions. During periods of strong winds (December-March), prefer sheltered beaches like Colombier, Gouverneur, or the Grand Cul-de-Sac lagoon. In summer with little wind, all beaches are accessible.
For snorkeling, Colombier and the lagoons offer the best conditions with calm waters and abundant fish. Surfers will enjoy Flamands and Toiny in winter. For a peaceful family swim, St-Jean and Saline are ideal.
